In lieu of a sunset

Yesterdays snow filled clouds meant there was no sunset to see so this'll have to do.

Snowy scenes

Walking along the harbour, yes Arnhem does have a harbour of sorts, just a gentle bend in the river Rhine where people moor their boats permanently.

Cherry blossom

Early cherry blossoms now wear a bonnet of snow.

Yesterday

I woke up to about 2-3 inches of snow and a winter wonderland. I'm sad all of it has gone now, just a few big white lumps on the grass remain where someone tried to build a snowman.

Signs of spring

Having spent a couple of days inside nurturing a cold, imagine my surprise when I went outside and saw the crocusses popping their heads out of the ground.

Sunset February 7th

I'm so glad I caught these. After getting to the harbour near the industrial estate where I had planned on taking some pics the sun had vanished behind a layer of clouds.

Sunset february 2nd

Nothing spectacular but quiet, calm, serene sunset with streaky bacon clouds made by planes flying overhead.
